Cha Dao translates to the Way of Tea. As a way of life, we honor tea through ceremony. In this ceremony we drink tea in silence, using the elements to awaken Leaves and explore the senses. Almost immediately we enter a gentle, meditative space, clearing ourselves from the worries and stresses of daily life. We begin to appreciate all around us and connect to both the mundane and sacred. This is an ancient practice created by the Zen Monks and Dao Sages to enhance their own meditation. Tea is a plant spirit that guides us back to Nature, and to the meditative mind.
In this ceremony we use wildgrown tea leaves cultivated sustainable with love and passion.

Jordanna began her love of Tea many moons ago, but it wasn't until she cultivated a regular meditation practice that the Way of Tea opened its heart. She has been practicing the Way of Tea for almost 3 years. She studied with Tea Sage Hut in Taiwan, and gained knowledge from other inspiring Chajin (tea people) around the world. However, her greatest teacher is Tea. Tea has taught her to slow down, and appreciate all the "little things in life". Because of Tea, everything becomes ceremony. Her biggest goal is to share the wonderful benefits Tea can have on our happiness and state of mind. She currently lives in New Jersey with her boyfriend and spends most of her time drinking tea and traveling to further develop her studies of Tea, plant medicine, and spirituality.
